Directie Volksgezondheid (DVG) – Department of Public Health

The Directie Volksgezondheid (DVG) is the official national authority in Aruba responsible for public health, disease prevention, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle. Operating under the Ministry of Public Health, DVG monitors infectious diseases, regulates food safety and hygiene, and provides essential services such as vaccinations and health certificates for food handlers. It is the central body for health-related permits and public health policy on the island.
