Profile
Located in the Eagle area of Oranjestad, the Dr. Horacio E. Oduber Hospital (HOH) is Aruba’s primary general hospital and the island’s only hospital facility. Opened in 1977 and named after the first Aruban physician, the hospital has recently undergone one of the largest renovation and expansion projects in the island’s history, adding a new 6-story bed tower and a state-of-the-art medical office building.
With over 280 beds and a dedicated staff of more than 1,000 employees, HOH provides a comprehensive range of medical services. It is a critical resource for both the local population of 120,000 and the thousands of tourists who visit daily. The hospital is known for its high standard of care, maintaining strong partnerships with leading medical institutions in the Netherlands, the United States, and Colombia for specialized treatments.
