The Grotto of Lourdes Outdoor Chapel is a unique and serene spiritual site carved directly into a limestone hillside in San Nicolas (Seroe Preto). Created in 1958 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in France, it features a large statue of Our Lady of Lourdes and Bernadette. It serves as a peaceful open-air sanctuary for prayer and reflection, famous for its quiet atmosphere and natural beauty.
