Profile
Founded in 1998, Cuba’s Cookin’Click to open side panel for more information is the longest-running authentic Cuban restaurant in Aruba. Originally housed in a historic cunucu house, it moved to the waterfront Renaissance Marketplace but brought its soulful “Old Havana” atmosphere along. The restaurant is a sensory experience: the walls are covered in an impressive collection of Cuban art and photography, and the air is filled with the sounds of live Latin music, which plays every single night. It is a place where food and culture collide; guests often find themselves dancing salsa between courses. The menu is strictly traditional, featuring staples like Ropa Vieja (shredded beef), Masitas de Puerco (garlic pork chunks), and fresh seafood in creole sauce. Beyond the food, it is famous for its dedicated “Mojito Bar,” which serves arguably the best mojitos on the island, available in over a dozen fruit flavors. Whether you are there for a family dinner or a late-night dance session on the terrace, the vibe is always warm, energetic, and welcoming.
